Karin Choo (Violin) holds Bachelor of Music and Bachelor of Arts degrees from the New England Conservatory, where she studied violin performance with James Buswell, and Tufts University, where she studied economics.
She teaches violin and performs as a free-lance artist throughout the greater Seattle area. A Vashon Island resident, Ms. Choo performs with the Vashon Island Chamber Music Festival,
Vashon Opera, Vashon Island Chorale and is Music Director and Concertmaster of the Vashon-Maury Chamber Orchestra. Ms. Choo worked previously as Executive Director of The American String Project and as Operations
Manager and Assistant Artistic Administrator at the Seattle Symphony.
